Origin
Dotz n Doodlez began in 2019 as a college creative outlet: bullet journaling my way through school in an attempt to stay organized, grounded, and sane while pursuing my degree.
What started as personal pages quickly turned into something more when a family friend discovered my work and requested a group commission. From there, I spent the next year creating fully personalized journals by hand, filled with dots, doodles, and intention. That’s where the name Dotz n Doodlez was born.
Burnout
But like many things created from passion without boundaries, I eventually reached burnout.
Taking on too much and overextending myself creatively led me to pause during COVID-19, where I returned to something essential: creating just for me again. Not for output. Not for expectation. Just for reconnection.
That season of stillness changed everything.
Rebirth
When I rebranded in 2023, I returned with more clarity, structure, and intention. I deepened my skills as a graphic designer and shifted the business to honor both its roots and my capacity: moving away from fully handmade commissions into thoughtfully designed, sustainable creative offerings.
Around that same time, I stepped into my holistic wellness coaching journey and began weaving those lessons into my creative process. What I was learning about nervous system care, inner child healing, and slowing down didn’t stay separate from my work. It became part of it.
Dotz n Doodlez is now rooted in that integration.
Expand
I create with slowness in mind, because I had to learn firsthand that you cannot pour from an empty cup. My work is not just about aesthetics. It’s about intention, presence, and creating space to breathe.
As the brand continues to grow alongside my wellness journey, I find myself more connected than ever to the community forming around it. Everything is connected: creativity, slowness, healing, and the inner child spark we often lose as we grow older.
Dotz n Doodlez is a reflection of that truth: when you stay connected to yourself, it shows in everything you create.
